Moore about Kim
My philosophy is simple: All people are leaders—from the stay-at-home mom raising children, to the store clerk representing a franchise, to the CEO of a Fortune 500 company. The only question is this: How effective are they?
The seeds of leadership were planted in the U.S. military. As a Company Commander and training officer, I led hundreds of soldiers and staff. I also instructed all branches of the military in preparedness for nuclear, biological and chemical warfare, including weapons of mass destruction. This experience required a level of training, coaching and drive unlike any I had known while growing up in small-town Chester, Pennsylvania.
I have held onto those skills, carrying them into my career in education .
As an educational leader, I am well-recognized for my ability to deliver results with unwavering vision, integrity, and passion through collaborative relationships with all stakeholders.
My strategic focus, superior communication, and meticulous implementation of plans, programs, and policies profoundly impact student achievement. With experience across multiple industries, I possess a full range of perspectives and a depth of empathy that enables me to navigate complex educational challenges easily. My extensive background in teaching, educational leadership, and operational excellence is a testament to my ability to drive success in every endeavor. I strongly believe in defining and achieving a vision that inspires passion in myself and others, and I uphold the highest standards of integrity in personal and professional conduct.
Handpicked by leaders to represent and serve in pivotal programs, I am fully committed to making a positive difference in the world of education.
I've also taught business courses as an adjunct professor for a national university.
As my career progressed and later shifted, I learned yet another key aspect of leadership: balance.
Now, with each new educational leadership development opportunity my goal is to “add value” to others’ lives, empowering them to solve problems, weigh priorities, reach their potential—and have some fun, too.
It starts with recognizing the leader in us all.
